Achieving VHCC Accreditation for Complex Cases
A major achievement for our firm in 2025 was securing the Very High Costs Case (VHCC) accreditation. This accreditation is granted to firms with the proven capability to handle the most serious, complex, and lengthy trials. It demonstrates our ability to manage cases that demand an exceptional level of resources, expertise, and meticulous preparation.
Currently, our team is hard at work on a VHCC matter prosecuted by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The trial, listed for 14 weeks in 2027, involves reviewing a substantial amount of evidence with some exhibits alone being over 250,000 pages. This monumental task is being led by our in-house supervisor, Shahid Khan, recognised as one of the best solicitors in Ilford who is guiding a dedicated team of legal professionals to build a robust defence for our client.
A Fresh Look: Rebranding and Digital Expansion
In 2025, we also focused on enhancing how we connect with you. We successfully rebranded our website to better reflect our firm’s identity, so when you search Google for the best criminal defence solicitors near me, you actually find the best. Alongside our new website, we made it our mission to grow our social media presence, sharing valuable insights and firm news across various platforms.
This digital growth is part of our commitment to being accessible and engaging.
Our Goals for 2026
As we look to the new year, we are setting ambitious goals to build upon the successes of 2025. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional legal services while continuing to innovate and grow.
Our key objectives for 2026 include:
- Enhancing our digital presence: We will continue to develop our website and social media channels, with plans to become more active on platforms like TikTok to share legal knowledge in new ways.
- Expanding our in-house expertise: We aim to increase the number of in-house police station representatives to provide an even more tailored and immediate service to our clients.
- Maintaining our accreditations: We will work diligently to maintain our esteemed Lexcel and Legal 500 accreditations, ensuring our standards of practice remain at the highest level.
- Supporting team development: We look forward to celebrating Muhini’s qualification as a Solicitor and supporting Hussam and Muhtasim as they begin their training contracts. We will also support Ian as he undertakes the process to enrol on the Duty Solicitor panel.
